Took the four-wheeled hide up on the high downs. Around a dozen Buzzards were worming on the arable farmland. This was the closest one to me.

Then away to Maiden Castle. There were around 30 to 40 Golden Plovers, but too far away to photograph. Don't really know how to get near them without upsetting the farmer. So, away to Loddy. Two Snipe feeding some distance away, Common Sandpipers even farther away. Loads of Canada Geese, Lapwing, shot a Dabchick, but couldn't really get interested in him. Weather turned squally so head home.
